About Brenda Cole, MS.,DC.
Who is Brenda?
As a Celebrant, Minister and retired medical professor, I am intimately acquainted with the Spiritual world. I grew up Roman Catholic and sang with two other Christian sects before turning towards UU and Paganism. I was ordained by the Centro De Esperanza Healing Center as a Minister in 2003 and became a Druid Celebrant in 2011. I also served on the Pastoral Care team at First Unitarian Church. I have married couples and sat vigil with several family and friends during their transitions.
Professionally, I hold three degrees in life sciences. I served 5 years teaching psychology and Western Medicine at a local Chinese Medical school and taught biology and anatomy at another college. Currently I am exploring certification in Spiritual Direction.
Through all my training and spiritual work, one of the most vital skills I learned was to listen and be a sounding board for others. Each person comes to their own Spirituality in their own way and time. I have the skills and experience to hold space for you to explore your own path.
